CITIZEN SIGHTING
Gorgeous dimensional nails forged by fire and coal.
This is my first blog so I'll keep it short and sweet. I'm a mom, a wife, and clothing designer. I'm blessed with a great family, career, and all the material things that come with this. I set life goals very early on and am proud to say I accomplished every one of them. Some where along my journey I became complacent, and frankly a bit lazy. I'm creating this blog to "resurrect" the passion, drive, and creativity that once existed in me. I plan to blog about fashion, beauty, parenting, and life. Hope you can follow me on this journey. Remember, "It's never too late to be who you might have been".
Peace & Love,
Linda

Using knives, tweezers and surgical tools, Brian Dettmer carves one page at a time. Nothing inside the out-of-date encyclopedias, medical journals, illustration books, or dictionaries is relocated or implanted, only removed. Dettmer manipulates the pages and spines to form the shape of his sculptures. He also folds, bends, rolls, and stacks multiple books to create completely original sculptural forms.
